Hello lovely readers! :)
I hope you all had a productive Monday! This week is going to be hectic for me but it's going to be worth it because I get to go home for Fall beak this weekend. :)
My new mani is Essie Sew Psyched, which I've shown you guys before when I first got it, but this is the first time I've worn it as a mani. Sew Psyched is a strange color to try and describe. It's like a greyed out, dusty green cream with extremely subtle silver shimmer. In most lighting I find that this polish looks more grey than green, but that doesn't stop this from being an epic green polish! Also, the formula does not disappoint! It's slightly thick and very smooth so application was a breeze. I technically got this to be opaque with the first coat but I always prefer to apply two coats because two coats really brings out the depth of a polish and provides for a richer, more saturated color. :) And I topped this all off with one coat of Seche Vite. :)
Lastly, I really thought that Sew Psyched contrasted nicely with the scarf I wore today. The purples in the scarf really make the green in this polish stand out. :)
I've been waiting to wear this polish for a while and since the weather has started cooling down [actually it's gotten to be down right cold, YAY!] I've finally felt that it's the appropriate time to wear it. I'm excited to wear some of my other fall polishes. :)
That's all for today, and thanks for stopping by and reading. <3

I have this color and love it! You should wear colors you love all year round and not worry about the season! Am a new follower!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for commenting and following! :) That's definitely a good point; maybe I'd have less untried polishes haha. :)
ReplyDeleteFirst, love the new background. Second, I really liked this color and adore essie! Third, going back to the last post, I will make you a cup of tea if you make my nails awesome like Tonyette's :)
ReplyDeleteHaha deal and I'll allow for you to make a cup of tea with my delicious peach tea that some how "mysteriously" ends up on your self ;) haha ANd I think I see slytherin themed nails for you in the near future. It's time to buy more image plates ;) haha
ReplyDeleteI love this colour! Its gorgeous, so simple but it has an edge to it.
ReplyDeleteAmazing scarf btw! Oh and I really like the ring too! =)
I agree, there is something subtly edgy about this polish, which is probably why I like it so much, besides that fact that I love green lol. Thank you! I got them both as gifts last Christmas. :)
