Hello Everyone!
I wanted to have this posted on Friday, but I didn't get around to taking the photos until today. I've had quite the busy weekend. My birthday is this Tuesday and my Mom, Dad, sister and brother came to visit me at school on Saturday. Therefore, I've spent today doing homework.
The mani I'm showing you all today is Orly - Fowl Play. I know have you have all seen about a million swatches of this already, but here's my swatch anyway. I'm sure you all won't mind since this polish is so epic. However, before I go into any details, I have to admit that when Fowl Play was first released and I saw swatches of it, I didn't like it. It seemed so weird to me and almost ... confusing. I didn't get Fowl Play. Yet, there was something so fascinating about it because it has so much depth and there's just so much going on in that bottle! I decided to just buy it on a whim. Boy, I'm glad I did. As soon as I applied it on my nails, it made sense. Finally Fowl Play and I understood each other.
Application was pretty good. I thought it was a little on the thick side, so the next time I wear it I'll probably be adding a couple of drops of thinner in it. I got it to be fully opaque in 2 coats and topped it off with one coat of Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat. I wish I had captured the duo-chrome quality of the flakes on my nails, but you can see it in the bottle.
I can't believe I ever doubted this polish. What was I thinking!? It's okay now because Fowl Play and I have made up and now we're the best of friends.
That's all for now and thanks for stopping by and reading!
