Peacock Inspired Nails

Hello!

I was on tumblr some weeks ago and saw a photo of peacock feathers. I immediately knew that I wanted to do a manicure based on this photo:

I actually don't have a metallic teal polish that would be good for stamping, so I mixed three polishes to get a similar effect. I'll list all the polishes and tools used at the end.

Here is what I came up with:

I'm really pleased with how this look came out. I only wish that the stamping was a lot more prominent. I'll definitely be experimenting with this look in the future though; the color combinations are endless.

Polishes used:
Base Color: OPI You Don't Know Jacques (2 coats)
Stamping Plate: BM - 212
Stamping Polishes (Mixed together): China Glaze Four Leaf Clover, Color Club Cold Metal, Color Club Perfect Molten
Blue Dots: Sally Hansen Pacific Blue and N.Y.C West Village
Top Coat: Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat

That's all for now and thanks for stopping by and reading!

    1. THank you! I didn't do that green part by hand, that was stamped, but I used a dotting tool for the two toned blue dots. :) And thanks so much for following and all your comments. :D
