It's been a while since my last post. I'm making up for it with this calming mani that I'm showing you all today.
I decided to knock another polish off my untried list and use one of the polishes that I got from my sister for Christmas that she got while she was in Korea. This polish is from the brand Skin Food and is a beautiful creamy periwinkle. It's an extremely opaque polish and could almost have been a one coater had it not been for it's application issues, so I applied two coats. It has a very thick, gooey formula and even with thinner it was difficult to control. I had to do some major cuticle clean up.
Then I decided to top this polish off with one coat Finger Paints Sparkle Top Coat, which is my Mom's polish. This polish is stunning. It's a clear polish with pink glass flecks and depending on the lighting, it shifts to yellow. Yes guys, a duo-chrome sparkle top coat. Perfection. I love how this looks over the periwinkle. It's just so calming to look at, yet eye-catching. Unfortunately I wasn't able to capture the duo-chrome quality in my photos. Bummer.
I really like that Finger Paints polish. I'm going to have to snag my own bottle so I don't use up all of my Mom's. I would really like to see what it would look like over Turquoise & Caicos. I'm already predicting that it's going to look like all kinds of awesome!
That's all for today and thanks for stopping by and reading!
