Simple French Manicure

Hello!

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but it's been an extremely hot week, with some days, like today and yesterday reaching 100+. Thankfully, the weather is cooling back down tomorrow and for the rest of the week because I'm really disliking this heat. For those of you experiencing obnoxiously hot weather, stay cool and paint your nails!

Moving on from the weather, today's manicure is your standard French Manicure. I wanted something simple and clean. I very rarely wear a french manicure. I do like how clean they look, but it's not my favorite look on my nails. I don't know why, it's just not. I don't dislike french manicures, but sometimes I feel as if they're a bit played out.

I decided to freehand the white tips because I'm not very good with the tape method. I used L.A Colors Art Deco in White because the brush on it is thin because it was made for detailing and nail art. Then I applied two coats of Essie Mademoiselle on top, which is probably the most perfect jelly, sheer french pink I've ever used. I then set this manicure with my Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat.

Okay, now I probably won't wear another french manicure for at least 6 months haha.

That's all for today and thanks for stopping by and reading!

  1. Wow, you really freehanded those tips? They look great! I agree that French manicures seem to be EVERYWHERE, but have you ever considered doing one with non-traditional colors? I've seen some really cool ones done with a colored creme as the base and another creme or an opaque glitter used as the tip.

    1. I actually used to wear French Manicures a lot more often before I really got into polish too haha. I do like them when I see them on others because they look so clean. :)
